I danced the Cha Cha with Devotion, and then ate some Red Velvet Cake

Last night as I was falling asleep, I envisioned today’s look, but the final product isn’t quite what I pictured. I was imagining Red Velvet Cake was a much truer red, and it would blend into a lighter pink on the inner corner of the lid. The colors that came together today ended up much softer and prettier than I imagined, and I’m happy with the results.

I misplaced my favorite blending brush, and substituted with a fluffy tarte brush instead.

Demure, Red Velvet Cake, Devotion, Cha Cha

On the eyes:

  • PTEP Brightening
  • Red Velvet Cake patted onto outer 1/3-1/2 of lid up to crease, using Precision eye brush
  • Cha Cha patted onto center of lid up to crease, using Precision eye brush
  • Demure patted onto inner 1/3 of lid up to crease, using Precision eye brush
  • Devotion buffed into crease and blended into lid colors, smudged under lower lashes along with Red Velvet Cake
  • Demure swept under brow and blended down
  • MAC liquid liner in Smoky Heir
  • Benefit bad gal mascara

On the lips:

  • Pretty Amazing Pizzazz

On the face:

  • Missha Perfect Cover bb cream in #21
  • Original foundation in Fairly Medium, mixed with Advanced Clear Radiance
  • Cheerful blush
  • Original mineral veil

I'm finally figuring out this makeup thing in my 30's. It's so much fun to collect and play with new colors and styles. I'm not a makeup artist, and far from it. I welcome any comments and tips you have!
