Bare Escentuals READY: The Playlist (Teal & Olive)

The Bare Escentuals long-anticipated QVC holiday show is coming up on Friday, 11/18/2011. The show times are (Eastern Time) at Midnight, 3am, 9am, 3pm, and 8pm. They will be featuring the Today’s Special Value (TSV) collection which is available on auto-delivery. I pre-ordered this collection and have featured it here on Beauty Beginner here, here, here, and here.

Some of the other items they’ll be talking about are the new READY 8.0 palettes, and I’ve been featuring looks all week using these two gorgeous palettes. The palettes are so versatile and the colors can work for just about anyone if you play around with them. If you’re stuck in a “neutrals-only” rut, both palettes have very pretty neutrals, but you can experiment with beautiful pops of color as well.

If you’re a long-time user of bareMinerals, don’t expect the experience of using READYs to be the same as using the loose minerals – the new solid shadows are still all natural, but they ARE a different formulation, so they apply differently. I’ve heard a lot of comments from people who decided that they don’t like these shadows after using it only one time – because they’re not the same as the loose minerals. I’m encouraging you to keep playing around and having fun with these. After all, that’s what makeup is all about – FUN!
