bareMinerals: The Afterparty

I am in love with this bareMinerals Ready 4.0 palette “The Afterparty.” I tend to gravitate toward bright, fun, crazy colors, but this quad reminds me that “normal” colors can be a lot of fun too. With a simple sparkly black, silver, shimmery white, and a soft plum, I feel like I can wear it a bunch of different ways – I could go for a smoldering smokey eye, a simple daytime neutral, or a shimmery fun look like this one.

On the eyes:

  • bareMinerals original eye primer
  • bareMinerals Ready 4.0: The Afterparty – Cheers (white) all over lid from lash to brow, concentrating heavier on the center of the lid, Rowdy (heathered plum) above the crease to crease a little dimension, Lights Down (shimmery black) in outer corner, blended gently into crease, then winged out in a double liner. Lights Down also in both waterlines. Mingle (silver) under lower lashes and between the two wings of the black liner
  • bareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara

On the lips:

  • bareMinerals Moxie lipgloss in Dare Devil

On the face:

  • boscia bb cream
  • Laura Geller Balance n Brighten in Porcelain
  • bareMinerals Warmth to contour
  • tarte blush in Dazzled
  • Mally Evercolor Poreless Face Defender

About Essy
I'm finally figuring out this makeup thing in my 30's. It's so much fun to collect and play with new colors and styles. I'm not a makeup artist, and far from it. I welcome any comments and tips you have!

Darn it, this is really making me want to spend money (i.e., buy this ready pallette!)
